Book Reviews: Information Security Books and Product Reviews – Syndication

If want to publish one of our reviews, for example if you are an author who is really pleased with the glowing report one of our expert reviewers has given your book, then sure, go right ahead and put it in a prime spot on your website or blog. However, we ask (politely of course) that you publish the review verbatim, exactly as you found it on InfoSecReviews.Com, making sure to link back to the article location from the header. Also please include the following HTML code at the bottom to ensure our copyright protection is maintained:

© InfoSec Reviews.

This will provide a link to our site that looks like this: © InfoSec Reviews.

This permission is granted purely on a one off, for non-commercial usage basis, so please don’t try to use our reviews in your marketing or PR campaigns because we’ll be after you and your checkbook for that privilege.

Publishers Republishing Our Review Copy

If you are a publisher and we’ve reviewed one of your books, there is a fair chance you might want to include some of that review copy in your Amazon listing, or indeed you might want to use it on your own website or book information you send to the sales channels. Whatever the purpose, we have very reasonable content syndication deals that we can discuss with you so please get in touch via This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Reuse on Corporate Intranets

Our content can be included on your corporate website or internal company information as long as it’s a one off and all the rules applying to Authors (see point 1 earlier) are adhered to. If you intend to use more than a couple of our reviews, however, then you need to speak to us and see what we’ll allow. There may be a fee or some other mutually beneficial agreement that we could come up with. As with all reuse of InfoSec Reviews content, please include a full citation and a link to our copyright statement.

Extracts for Catalogues and Product Portfolios

Catalogues and product portfolios are sales tools so this falls into the ‘commercial use’ category and you’ll need our permission. We need to ensure that the extract you are using is representative of the overall sentiment of the book review and not misleading, so all extracts must be reviewed by our editors prior to publishing. For more than just a couple of reviews, you’ll need to pay us a small fee for reuse of our content.

Corporate Site Licenses or Bulk Content Feeds

We are happy to negotiate corporate licenses for a live feed to all our content, and under those terms you will have the rights to publish the content on your own site, adhering to the rules we’ve previously stated.
